Spotlight On: Billy Reid

Welcome to the inaugural Spotlight On: This will be a weekly showcase of inspiring individuals and their amazing aesthetics. My first feature was completely happenstance but recent events have made him the perfect choice. As a native Oklahoman, I know first hand the devastation of even the smallest tornado. My heart is broken because of the suffering in Alabama. Check him out and please visit the American Red Cross for donation information. They truly need our help. Now on to the show!

Florence, Alabama based apparel designer, Billy Reid, is oozing cool. Consider this the Resurgence of Man. The southern style master is (seemingly) effortlessly bridging the gap of form and function with pure Americana. A southern-rooted underground no more, Billy Reid has been honing his craft from the cradle so this isn't one-trick-pony kid's stuff. As though 6 retail stores weren't enough, Mr. Reid builds his own furniture and designs his own interiors. And this is just his retail storefront.
